ANTHONY TESSELAAR PLANTS PRESENT BEGONIA BONFIRE™ AND BEGONIA BELLFIRE™

Anthony Tesselaar Plants searches the world looking for new and distinctively different plants that are colourful, easy to grow, environmentally friendy and low maintenance.

Once we receive a new plant from a breeder, we then subject it to extensive R&D. We check for both garden and container performance, in numerous locations and climate zones, to ensure that the plants selected conform to our strict criteria.

The trials can take up to five years and are carried out in various countries including Australia, New Zealand, North America, and Europe.

Begonia BONFIRE

BONFIRE has an eye-catching profusion of exotic bright red-orange flowers covering up to half of the plant. BONFIRE's interesting rich green foliage has serrated edges highlighted by a red margin, and a neat, bushy growth habit.

Quickly coming into bloom in late spring, it continues to shower you with bright red-orange blooms from spring all summer long, right up until late autumn.

Low maintenance, easy-care, BONFIRE can be grown in full sun or partial shade and is not afraid of summer rains or dryer summer conditions. It is ideal where masses of colour are required with little or no care.

Begonia BELLFIRE

With its masses of coral pink, bell shaped flowers covering the rich plum coloured foliage with a highlighted purple edge, BELLFIRE demands attention anywhere it is used.

BELLFIRE is a slightly more upright bushy form that is quick to bloom in late spring, continuing with its spectacular show right up until autumn or the early frosts.
